We spend a lot of time at CSL thinking, reading, and writing.  This is in support of our work as advocates.  On a daily basis, we are working to improve the opportunities for meaningful engagement within our community. We also work on understanding how state and federal policies impact the lives of families, youth and young adults.  To do this we are constantly reading, thinking and challenging our own understanding of what it means to be neurodiverse in America today.

We are currently thinking about:

  • How digital spaces are used as a strategy for resilience to daily caretaking tasks.
  • Qualitative methods for exploring the everyday experiences of families caretaking for people with severe, complex medical and developmental disabilities.
  • Increasing community capacity for supported housing for people with neurodiversity.
